The Career Relaunch Forum

The Career Relaunch Forum, http://www.careerrelaunch.com/is a one-day seminar providing information and guidance to mid-career professionals who have taken a break from their careers about returning to the workforce. The event is being held in DC on Wednesday, November 12th, at GWU’s Marvin Center.

NY Times clips about Boomer employment

Gabe Goldberg, who wrote the recent feature about 40Plus in the Washington Post, passes along these two NY Times articles of interest to 40Plus members — An op-ed piece, ”Geezers Doing Good” and a book review, “Who Wants to Retire Later? Don’t Laugh.” 

Thanks for the tips, Gabe.  I particularly liked the op-ed, which discusses the booming “Encore Career” movement: “Work that matters in the second half of life.”  People exploring a mid-life career shift should take a look at this site.
