Learn the nuances of a successful job search including managing a timeline for your search and the search process. How to develop, grow, manage and importantly, keep your network energized.

Learn how to best communicate your message and targets be it through your commercial, your resume or your “one pager.”

When you leave our event you will be able to say, “I gained some valuable ‘pearls of wisdom.’ I have some good leads/market intelligence; I am comfortable communicating my commercial; and I have a new network.”

We meet for informal, stand-up networking, snacks and beverages at 1 p.m.

Around 1:20 p.m. we start the formal program.

-Learn how to package your message so it resonates and gets results

-Receive some good job search ‘pearls of wisdom’

-Develop a good network and keep it energized

-Have a good time

Roundtable questions and comments are addressed.

Education piece – We take a relevant topic each month and give you tips and techniques.

-Bring 30 copies of your “one pager”

-The “one pager” is the most important tool for your search in this venue; it is a synopsis of your resume: Header, Career Summary; Bussiness/Professional Experience (includes whom you worked for; when and where, title but no responsibility/accomplishment detail; Education, Other relevant data; AND lastly, Target Companies or Organizations. List your target companies or organizations. These can be “companies like …”

-Bring business cards and 6 resumes to distribute selectively

-Be ready to share information you have for others
